A Type-In on the Queen Mary, Anyone?

Hello Typospherians!


 Allow me to apologize for my recent absence. I've been a bit under the weather as of late. But, I digress. My darling and I were conversing, and he came up with what I believe is a brilliant idea: a type-in on the Queen Mary. In my mind, the only thing that could make this better is if it is in October sometime and we all go in costume.

 I think this would be riotously fun and am willing to do the legwork on ticket pricing and setting up a date if enough of you are interested. Please either comment on the post or email me here and let me know. Also, if you have any druthers as to a date and time, please let me know now before I contact the staff of the Queen Mary to set this up.

 Let's get a group together! It's going to be so much fun!

      Well, hurricane season in your neck of the woods would be a good excuse to visit, haha.

      I know there isn't many of us on the left coast, but maybe there's enough to make it a worthwhile endeavor! I certainly hope so.

      Thank you Richard! I do, too; although we'll probably try to go do it even if no one opts in, it's still more fun to have a bunch of people together instead of just two. ;-)

      Great blog! The Queen Mary I was referring to was that fine ship's predecessor, and it's docked in Long Beach CA as a floating hotel, restaurant and spooky tourist attraction. It is a lovely old boat.

    I apologize that it's taken me so long to respond to the comments! I've had issues with the ol' Laptopasaurus to the point I broke down and replaced it. I will now respond to each comment individually as I usually do.
