The International Correspondence Initative: First-Round Correspondence Pairings

Good evening Typospherians!

Here is the first-round correspondence mash-up:

Richard P.Ryan A.

Vikram / Bell Stone (blog forthcoming)

notagainAnna Strad

We happen to have an uneven number, so I'll be taking on two correspondents for this round:

Anna Strad / Nat

*Small Amendment: we have two more participants!*

Scott K.michaeliany

So, let the corresponding...begin!

I am quite looking forward to see what everyone will be posting on their blogs in the coming weeks and months that they have received from others!

Happy Typogramming!

-Anna.

  1. Looking forward to it!

Just one suggestion, Anna, could you change the color scheme a bit on your blog? The names with links in this post are very hard for me to read.

  2. I'm sorry, Richard. :( I'll go play with the settings now. Please keep giving me feedback like this; I do want people to be able to see what they're reading and not strain their eyes!

    Thank you. :)

    2. After messing around with it for most of the day yesterday, all of last night and this morning, I believe that Laptopasaurus, Blogger templates and myself have finally come to an end in our negotiations!

I did some research on what displays are easier on the eyes, and this is what I ended up with. A neat aside is that the colors remind me of gel pens. Should be much easier to read now!

And it took so long because this laptop is so very old and slow. For example, I'm still running Windows 2000 as my OS.

  3. I kind of liked your old blog template a bit better. I used this one on my radio blog and was never satisfied with it.

    1. I'm sorry, Bill. I could never get the background color like I really wanted it. Since I changed it [again], what do you think?

  4. Oh, my appologies, I should have thrown my hat in the ring. Sorry, I've been extraordinarily busy in the last couple of weeks, and I'm only jumping via the typosphere during breaks at work.

    1. No apologies Scott, I completely understand. you can still join if you'd like, or you can wait for round two, entirely up to you. Let me know.
